This temperature probe is specifically designed for use with Balboa heaters featuring M7 technology, which relies on dual temperature sensors—mounted at each end of the heater—to ensure precise monitoring of water temperature and flow.

Cable Length Options:
This probe is available in two different cable lengths to suit a variety of heater housing types and installation needs:

36 cm (14") – commonly used in plastic heater enclosures
60 cm (24") – typically installed in metal heater casings such as the Colossus or Viper systems

Note: Balboa recently updated the shorter version’s cable length from 30 cm to 36 cm to enhance installation flexibility.

Reliable Monitoring with M7 Technology:
The M7 system uses identical probes at both ends of the heater tube. These work together to measure incoming and outgoing water temperature, flow consistency, and to detect potential issues such as dry firing or low water flow—ensuring safer and more efficient operation.
