Heater Fitting & Removal Guide:Â Replacing the Gecko AeWare IN.YJ 2.0kW Remote Heater is a straightforward process. Loosen the two heater union collars by hand or with a wrench. If necessary, the collars can be split and removed by unscrewing the two screws. Disconnect the chassis earthing copper cable from the heater tube. Unscrew the three power cables from the IN.YJ control box PCB and unplug the sensor cable. Remove the old heater and install the new one in reverse order. The heater comes with new gaskets, which should be used to ensure proper sealing at the union connections.
